Dr. Mo Omole is the Founder and CEO of Verdant Energy, where he leads the firm’s strategy to originate, develop, and finance renewable natural gas (RNG) and gas-to-power with carbon capture projects. He brings over 20 years of experience across the midstream, environmental, and renewable energy sectors, with a focus on building scalable platforms that align strong returns with measurable sustainability impact.

Prior to founding Verdant, Dr. Omole held senior leadership roles at ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66, where he advanced emissions-reduction initiatives, implemented risk-based asset strategies, and oversaw high-performance gas system design. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with specialization in gas processing and upgrading technologies.
