Bill Stafford brings over 30 years of executive experience in strategic business development, stakeholder engagement, and public-private partnerships across the energy, infrastructure, and telecommunications sectors. At Verdant Energy, he leads municipal outreach, supports community benefit negotiations, and facilitates long-term partnership alignment with economic stakeholders.

Throughout his career, Bill has held senior roles at leading companies including Phillips 66, Lucent Technologies, and ReliON (Plug Power). He has successfully driven commercialization efforts for advanced energy and hydrogen technologies, secured multimillion-dollar revenues through partnerships with Fortune 50 companies and federal agencies, and spearheaded go-to-market strategies for capital-intensive projects.

Bill’s deep expertise spans energy transition technologies, infrastructure development, and market expansion—making him a key leader in Verdant’s efforts to deliver clean energy solutions at scale. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University, with emphasis in Marketing, Management, and Finance.
